Love island may be over for another a year leaving a whole in all of our lives from 9 to 10 every night. The reality show has the eyes of the country looking enviously not only at the beautiful people but that beautiful Majorcan back drop and now iconic love island garden.

Plenty of customers come to us inspired by the low maintenance, functional and modern garden that hosts such iconic reality tv moments. So here’s a run-down of how to ‘Love island’ your garden.

Fire-pit

Every years’ show features the now infamous fire pit, although lets hope that your dinner parties don’t end as tensely as a love island re-coupling. Fire-pits are a great feature piece for your new low maintenance garden and will keep you warm on those chillier summer evenings.

Festoon Lights

Those twinkling lights have been a consistent feature across all three seasons of the show. Strung prettily across the garden this could be the perfect way to dress up your urban outdoor living space.

Pergolas

By no means are we suggesting that you have your own Hideaway at the end of your garden (unless that’s what you’re into). A small pergola or covered seating area can be the perfect place to unwind after a tough day in the city. Add a few cushions and lanterns can give you the perfect place to unwind in the evenings.

The garden is full of raised planters structuring the outdoor space in a low maintenance and contemporary way. It adds great angles to your garden and are a great way to maximise space in smaller urban gardens.
